Software developers you might not know of

The future of the online casino industry has been quite the point of discussion as of late. Many are wondering what games and more importantly what developers are going to carry the genre into 2020 and beyond. With one eye locked on the future, we have been looking through the most well sorted casinos, like LeoVegas (which you can visit here), to find the online casino game developers who carry the most potential. In the final blog on the matter, we feel the following names go hand-in-hand with those we’ve already discussed as the developers to watch moving forward.

Big Time Gaming

Found a little over 4 years ago, Big Time Gaming is one of the few Australian developers to make an impact on a global stage. Branching out from Oceania shores, it is now providing games to online casinos that operate within both Europe and the United Kingdom. Since opening its doors in 2011, the company’s focus has been on creating a game series that can merge seamlessly into an already large online casino game catalogue. Viking’s Quest ranks as the company’s lead game and is currently found through Microgaming’s Quickfire platform.

GW Games

The newest developer on this list, as they only have a few months of experience under their belts, GW Games presents an interesting concept. The company was officially launched at ICE back February 2015, since then it has moved fast to make its presence felt within the industry. Recently it just signed its first major distribution agreement with William Hill, with players all set to get their first taste of the developers flagship title Lucky’s Empire.

Chance Interactive

Chance Interactive is almost as young as GW Games, having been founded a little under a year ago. The company came together when several industry professionals decided to launch a brand new project. Another Australian name, the company prides itself on injecting fun back into online casino play, with brand new slot games that carry a truly fresh feeling. Chance Interactive may not even be Australia’s biggest online casino game developer at this point, but they could very well claim that title in the coming years.

It seems that the longer this list goes on the bigger the names get. If you listen to some fairly prominent online casino portals, then you will already be aware of just how highly-respected a developer Endorphina is. No other developer for their age has put more money and time into developing truly cutting edge online casino technology. When Endorphina release a game it comes with a significant buzz attached, but it isn’t just in the games department where Endorphina is making great strides. The developer has also had a hand to play in the popularisation of bitcoin in today’s online casino market. By partnering with Pololo Gaming and XIN Gaming, they have no only been able to make impact in the Asian market, but they’ve also been able to bring bitcoin based casino gaming into the mainstream.

Quickspin may not have the same aura as Endorphina, but there is no denying that they are slowly getting to that point. By steering clear of the mainstream to an extent they have become a “Boutique Developer”, which much like Endorphina places heavy focus on technological innovation. This developer may be small, but players shouldn’t be fooled, Quickspin is a name to watch as they pack plenty of punch in the innovation stakes. So much so that they won four major nominations at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards, that alone says a lot about the company’s credentials.
